Background

The Paris Agreement was signed on April 22, 2016 in New York, attended by 195 countries including the Government of Indonesia, aiming at reducing the emission of greenhouse gas effect on
global climate change. 

Emission and Waste Reduction 

In connection to the above, the Government of Indonesia has established programs in order to reduce the amount of emissions between 29% and 41% by 2030 with the support of international cooperation. At the same time, the government has a target in achieving the energy mix for New and Renewable Energy (EBT) of 23% by 2025 which also includes renewable energy and waste to energy for the environment and power generation sectors, simultaneous programs are also carried out.

In line with the government's long-term plan in its commitment on reducing global emissions and controlling climate change, INDOPLAS ENERGI GROUP takes the position as a leading player in the renewable energy sector, which can provide comprehensive solution, especially for urban waste problems which will have a positive impact to future social-economic conditions both for Indonesia and the world.
